I've been absent from the forum for a while.  Just been busy with work and putting together my son and I new shop building. This has been in the works for over two years now.  We started by demoing the old inground swimming pool may of last year. Filled in the hole in the ground with all of the leftover concrete and fill dirt.  We let that settle for over a year before starting the foundation. Here's a few pictures to start off with.

The contractor put in a 5" slab with footings 12" wide x 24" deep. The building size 30 foot x 40 foot with 12 foot eave height with a 4/12 pitch roof. It will be a red iron build with roll type insulation. It'll also have a 10 foot wide x 20 foot long front porch. Oh, it'll also have a 12 foot x 10 foot over head garage door with opener.

Steel is supposed to arrive this week if it doesn't rain. The contractor will start next week.  Right now there is rain in the forecast for the next four days. Lol.

Here's the floor plan for the building. Subject to change as stuff is added to the building. Or removed, Lol.

Holy smoke, you certainly have been busy! I must say that I am envious of the shop space that you will have!
