I needed something to do in my Hobby Shop and I always wanted one. Lots of ideas on the internet. Most do not pull straight unless you do some welding. Yeah, a slide hammer with a Vise-Grip on its end. Now I have something to do! I ran across a Vise Grip (#12LC) in my piles and noticed how straight the grip was to the adjustment screw...idea! It's not the usual angle as seen on most Vise-Grips. Found a slide hammer in my piles. Some 1144 hex. A little Lathe work and voila' I now have a slide hammer with a Vise-Grip end that pulls straight.

I'm wondering what else you might find in those "piles" ??
