YouTube videos may be embedded in your posts by linking to them using a special type of hyperlink. These links take up very little room on our server and they are the preferred way to embed videos in your posts.

  • Create your post. Start a new paragraph at any point that you wish to add a YouTube video link.
  • Make sure that you add a subject if this is a new thread.
  • Once the post is created, go back to the published post, and hover the mouse over "More" and then click on "Modify" in the drop-down list. Keep in mind that you can only edit a post for three hours after it is created.
  • Your post will now open in edit mode.
  • Click on the place where you wish to add a video.
  • Click on the "YouTube" button - near the left, just above the smileys.
  • Type in or paste the URL to the video you want to add.
  • Click on the "Insert" button. The YouTube video will now appear in your selected location within your post.
  • Click "Save" in the lower right corner to save your changes to the post.
  • Review your post to make sure the changes took place the way you wanted.
