A friend of mine that convinced me to initially go the Touch DRO route informed me of something I didn't know before.
This is/was stated in the original User Manual: "Virtually unlimited point memory, organized into workspaces"
While this is technically true statement as the amount of saved projects, way points, etc. was only limited by the device (phone or tablet) available memory space and could be increased by adding a larger flash drive, it seems there is no way to transfer these files from one device to another.
If you have to replace your phone and/or tablet, as far as we could tell, you lost all that saved data and had to start over again.

As far as I can tell, the only thing that can be exported, saved, and then imported to a new device is the Tool Library.

Why? If you're using an android platform files can be accessed via file folder apps or connecting to a pc via a usb cable.
Or is it something to do with the files themselves?

I'm not completely sure. I think it's how the App stores the data, possibly within the App code.
All I can say for sure is my friend Brian is pretty savvy about coding. He's the one that cracked the iGaging Absolute encoders, and he can't figure out how to transfer the files when he had to upgrade tablets.
It may be possible, I'll ask Yuriy and see if he'll tell me.
