I had to stop polishing the mirrors as two of the controllers blew their top so I had a slight change of direction.
The plastic handle of my favorite butter knife shattered so I thought why not make a new one, shouldnt be too difficult.
I made a stainless insert to keep the full length of the handle sides apart, 6 brass rivets and 2 aluminium sides

Sandwiched with epoxy and the brass rivets plus a bit of a polish.

Now the big question, why on earth would I go to all this trouble for an el-cheapo small steak knife.
I loved this blade for one reason only, it can slice hard butter from the fridge very thinly without sticking to the blade allowing me to very easily place slices of butter on to my toast and on my vegetables to melt quickly.

Now back to real work, mirror polishing.

Nice work on the handles! A favorite tool knows no bounds right?!?!?! LOL

Here I thought I was the only one with what seem like "odd" favorites! I guess not!

Nice work Charles!
