A couple weeks ago I ran into the new Touch DRO Plus that I posted about here. Attempting to find out more about it, I both posted questions about it on the Yuriy's Toys forum page and, after getting no responses, emailed Yuriy directly.
Since then I've received no responses from either for more than 2 weeks.
Today I tried going back to the forum on Yuriy's Toys site. The link to the forum is no longer there and every other hyperlink now redirects to the Touch DRO site.

I hate to speculate, but I've heard rumors that Touch DRO might be shifting to a paid subscription type service. If true, I don't know if or how that may affect current users that have already downloaded the App.
In the event it does happen, my hope is that the App will continue to function for those that already have it. So for those that are possibly considering using it that haven't downloaded the App or the firmware, you might want to consider doing that in the near future before a potential shift that may preclude doing so in the future.
If I hear more I'll post it as I find out.

I had an after-thought about the potential of Touch DRO going to a paid subscription.
I re-read the webpage about Touch DRO Plus where it said the code for the Plus features is written in the base code.
I recalled during one of our past email conversations that he was getting tired of the continual updates he had to do that were required by Google Play to stay in compliance.
While the App is still available for download on Google Play, hard coding the Plus features in purchase only controllers may be a way around dealing with the App store.
I did email Yuriy again because I couldn't find any info regarding any requirements for phone/tablet operating system versions. Will let you know if/when I hear from him.

I got an answer from Yuriy to one question. Operating system and version requirements haven't changed for the new PLUS features and can be found here: https://www.touchdro.com/resources/dro-manual/system-requirements.html
Even if I don't get answers to my other asked questions, hopefully I'll be able to figure them out myself as I've Been waiting forever for the "Reference Image Overlay Function" and plan on ordering a new controller in the next few days.
I'll make update post to the Touch DRO Plus thread as I figure things out.

I posted this in the Touch DRO Plus thread, but to be sure it's not missed, I', posting it here too.
After placing my order, I got an email from Yuriy that the kit version doesn't include the Plus option, only the pre-assembled TDA-400/420 adapters do.
