Hello all. My name is Russ and I live in North Texas. Been a hobby machinist for several years. I don't get a lot of time in the shop but enjoy it when I can. Current machines are old American iron Logan 820 lathe and a chinesium Seig X2D. Both have been modified and upgraded. Currently running DROs on both using TouchDRO and glass scales.  My long term interests are building model engines and maybe even a small Locomotive one day.  But I and my skills aren't there yet.  Looking forward to continuing on learning with this site.

Welcome aboard Russ, glad you are here!  There are a few of us that are interested in engines, both steam and gas, so you will fit right in.

Maybe I should start a board just for engine projects?   :smiley_chinrub:
