I'm still around. Just been really busy lately and trying not to spend much time online while the weather is still nice. And the boy has karate 3 nights a week which I enjoy watching ... (Each class I get a wee bit closer to just biting the bullet and joining, myself)...

The shop is jam packed with work right now. Almost too much.
A pile of aluminum, metal, and plastic parts for a regular customer who builds custom industrial equipment. Their parts are enjoyable, but often have a 5 day turn around as they design the equipment while they build it, it gets tricky with the short lead times... But they pay well, and pay on time.

I have another batch of nickel aluminum bronze bushings. The chips recycling is always nice. Usually around $3+/lb.

And another huge job I have to find time for - a 4000 pc order from the aluminum extrusions, from Spain!

Enjoy.

Nice work Shawn.  It's hard to believe you started with a small lathe and junky mill and now you have a shop of real machines to play with. You are doing great, keep it up! Ken
