First of all, thanks to Terry and all others who have spent their valuable time getting this site up and running.

By way of reintroduction, I had an almost 30 year career in developmental engineering and manufacturing at a major defense electronics (and other stuff) company. I retired in 2003, so I don't know smells like onion$ anymore. I've always been a tinkerer, a builder and an aid DIYer. I think the desire to get what I want is the driving force behind those interests. It seems I most enjoy fixing something and returning it to useful condition.

Born in the 50's, grew up in the 70's, now in my 60's, hope I make it to my 80's.
