I attempted to use the "Quote" button to reply to a thread post. When I did, there was no option to attach a photo.
That option is there when I hit the "Reply" button.

That is rather odd, but we will have to look into it. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I found the solution already and it is quite simple.

When you use the quote button, the system uses the 'quick reply' which is what shows up at the bottom of each thread. The 'quick reply' feature does not allow a user to attach a file or a photo, but there is a solution. Read on.

Hitting the 'Reply' opens the full featured reply window which does allow a user to post a photo or attach a file.

Here is the work-around: If you hit the 'quote' button, a 'quick reply' opens with the quoted text already in it. To move from a 'quick reply' to the full featured 'Reply', click on the 'Preview' button. A preview of your post opens with the full featured 'reply' window just below it. This same technique also works if you start a quick reply but wish to move to the full featured reply window at any time.
