I haven't been to Machinist Gazette in a while, got an email from Robert Sumpter about it being dead and this was opened as a replacement.  Cool beans!

Originally started in 2007 by Jeff Beck in Massachusetts. When Jeff closed his new and used machine tool business he transferred ownership to me to keep it going. Also a free site with no advertising, anyone can register a username. Machinistweb is set up similar but a little different. Not intending to be in competition with this or any other similar site, just another opportunity to gain information and share your experiences. Check it out!

Welcome aboard, Mondo! We don't see other communities as a bad thing so no worries there. We look at it more like two neighboring small towns. They both have their own personalities and enjoy some friendly competition, but when the chips are down they both help each other out. We don't just talk about being a friendly forum, we live it!
