Greetings,
Here is a little about me;
My Name is Jim Quick (hence quickj as a user name)
I reside in Minnetonka, MN which is a suburb of Minneapolis

I have been a Home Shop Machinist for around 30 years, with my shop being in the basement of my House.  My equipment includes, but is not limited to, A 1947 Southbend model a 9" lathe, A Rockwell vertical mill, a Benchmaster vertical mill, an Atlas 7B metal shaper, Drill presses by Atlas (2), Delta/Rockwell, and Duro.  Most equipment is older than I am, and I am pushing 70.  I also have a Mini shop with Unimat Lathes (5), Cameron Micro Drills Etc.

Welcome Jim.
Are you a tinkerer like many of us or is there something specific that you do with your machines ?

Thanks for the Warm Welcome guys.
I use my shop for anything that strikes my fancy.  In the past week I have used my Machines to;

Made a replacement screw for a Kurt style 4" milling machine Vise

Made a replacement South Bend Threading Stop for my SB 9" Model A lathe after I broke the original making the replacement screw for the Kurt style vice (Single point threaded 3/4-10 LH and 3/4-16 RH threads)

Worked on Repairing an unusual steam engine for a Guy in Illinois.  Made a new spool valve.  Working on Timing it.

I sure hope this was an oversight and pictures are coming.
