It is now 2025. 

My wife and I had not been out on New Years Eve in many, many years and decided to go out for a little while last night once I got home from work. She does not drink, so she becomes the designated driver by default. We were out for a couple of hours and home by 11:30. I enjoyed a couple of beers and caught up with a few friends from town.

I did my due diligence last night. Yes, it was very important, too. Getting home before midnight was important so that I could carry this out before the new year rang in. Just before midnight I took a healthy dump so that I didn't carry any of last year's crap into 2025.  :smiley_wc:

I didn't know this. The Irish just before midnight new years eve open the back door of the house to let the old year out. And just after the new year they open the front door and let the new year in.

Sounds complicated if you've had one too many lol.
