I have added a new feature allowing users to bookmark individual posts within a thread. To create a bookmark, click on the little green heart near the bottom of the post. Click on the red heart to remove an existing bookmark. You can find a list of your bookmarks in your own profile.
Your bookmarks are your own and are not saved for anyone else. They are also not related to messages that have been labeled as 'sticky'.
Enjoy!

I'm not seeing the hearts.
Try it now. I had to mess with the permissions a little bit. I mistakenly assumed that this tool was available to everyone, but not so. It should work for everyone now, but let me know if it does not.
I also forgot to mention: When you click on the Green heart, a window pops up that you can edit and give the bookmark some details that will make sense to you. Once that is done, click "Add Bookmark" and you are done. That post will now show up with a medium blue background and the heart will be Red. If you want to remove the bookmark, click on the Red heart and it will be gone. No nag message or asking you if you are sure. One click and the bookmark is gone, simple as that. Of course, if you removed one by accident, you could always recreate it.
This add-on has some really weird permissions. I just tried some of my test accounts and it works for regular users, but not moderators. Digging into it and will post again when I have it working for sure.
Okay, I found the place where I omitted the change for moderators and it has been fixed and tested. It should work for all members now, but not guests.
Terry, I get a database error when I try to add a book mark.
That's weird, I tried it again, it works now. Cool!
The error log showed two database errors for you Ken, but they are nothing to worry about. They can occur from time to time, but the error message is really just the system letting you know that the task you attempted did not complete as intended. Simply wait a moment or two and try again and the task will usually complete correctly, as you saw.
Glad you like it!
