Title: How To See a Larger Version of a Photo in a Post.
Post by: TerryWerm on Jun 10, 2024, 09:01 PM
When you encounter a photo in a post, you only see a thumbnail, which we are all used to. You click on it and the image opens larger, but many times not as large as a person might like. The common workaround to this is to download the photo then open it in a photo editor or web browser. This is not necessary and is a lot of extra work!

Fear not!  There is a way to see it even larger than what it is displayed; at least on a Windows computer running MS-Edge as a browser. Other browsers may not behave the same way.

Another method is to enlarge the thumbnail, then right click on the photo and select "Magnify image" which also opens the new window.

A photo is attached below for test purposes. It is the Pink Lady Slipper, state wildflower of New Hampshire. I found this one growing in the wild in northern Minnesota.

If anyone knows how to do the same thing in other browsers, please speak up so we can update these instructions.
