Have an 1890s 14" Putnam lathe all the parts are now moving, and I've her powered her up.
While she will not likely ever be a precision machine she certainly could make chips again.
But need to make a decision point of: if she should spend her final days making chips or should she donate/receive parts from an at risk Putnam. You can do remaining work, or I can do it for you.
Should you have interest let me know and can provide more data.
Price very negotiable. How about $250 as she stands?
Regardless, while I just couldn't let her go to the scrapper, I don't have room for her here.

For a 125 year old lathe, it's amazing it is still among us and hasn't been turned into razor blades. These old machines like this amazing are still in half-way decent shape for their age.
Missed my chance to latch on a 14" Hendy tie-bar lathe years back. Way too far off for me to come and get.
